Efi Hershkovitz - Executive Chairman
Efi is a successful entrepreneur in the UK healthcare industry with 20 years' experience in care-sector development and operation. In 1994, Mr Hershkovitz founded Forest Healthcare Limited which he grew from a single site development in Northwest London into a specialised healthcare group offering 14 facilities, managing over 850 beds and employing 1,000 staff. The portfolio included Ellern Mede Eating Disorder, a specialised adolescent eating disorder facility and the Borehamwood Care Village, one of the largest and most unique specialist care facilities in the UK with 178 beds and providing various categories of care under one roof. Forest was sold in 2007.
The Danshell Group was founded in 2010, following the purchase of Oakview Estates who provides treatment and care of young people, aged 12 to 18, detained under the Mental Health Act. In November 2011, the Group entered into a management agreement to run six care homes in Scotland, and in 2012, it acquired seven adult mental health facilities and one adolescent unit. In 2013 Mr Hershkovitz expanded the Danshell Group further with the purchase of a further 22 facilities and since then has been the Chairman and the CEO of the Danshell Group.
Mel Ramsey - Chief Executive Officer
Mel Ramsey is the Chief Executive Officer of the Danshell Group, having been appointed as of April 2016.
Mel has a wide range of experience with more than 20 years within the healthcare sector. She joins Danshell from New Century Care, where she managed a business with 27 care homes, supporting more than 1200 people. Other roles include senior positions at Embrace Group and Craegmoor, part of the Priory Group.
A qualified nurse, Mel has significant experience developing and maintaining robust clinical governance systems and a proven track record in delivering market leading services in the sector.
Mel works alongside her fellow directors to ensure that Danshell continues to provide the very highest quality of care and support to service users.
Clynt Hall - Finance Director
Clynt is the Finance Director of Danshell Group, having been appointed in July 2016.
Clynt has extensive experience in senior finance roles and healthcare, having previously worked for Bupa's Care Services division, who at the time operated around 300 care homes and supported over 18,000 residents. Prior to that, Clynt worked for a number of other successful multi-site businesses.
As a qualified accountant, Clynt has had a wide range of experience leading finance teams and supporting businesses to enable them to grow and ultimately improve their financial performance.
Clynt is Dad to two young children, and enjoys spending his time outside of work having some quality time with his family.
Ori Zaidman - Corporate Service Director
Ori is an Air-Force veteran (Major) who retired from service and joined Danshell in 2011. With his extensive military operational leadership background, Ori leads the expansion strategy in Danshell and is now in charge of all operational, financial and corporate integration processes in the expanding Group.
Resh Hirani - Internal Audit Director
Resh joined Danshell in 2010 with over 25 years of experience in finance management in a wide range of industries. Resh is a meticulous forensic accountant who has introduced new processes to improve collection, cost control and accurate financial reporting for the group. Resh is a very "hands-on" individual who is as comfortable liaising directly with clients and end users within an operational environment as she is handling suppliers and customers in a purely financial context.
